Full Moon Manifestation Guide: Turn Your Dreams Into A Reality

The full moon has many magical and mysterious powers that affect us in one way or another. Whether you have more trouble sleeping during a full moon, or you feel an unexplainable force of energy suddenly take over your body, or you have a heightened sense of emotions; the full moon is known to have a powerful effect on the human body. It's how you learn to embrace the moon cycle that can help you achieve your manifestations in life.

I don't know about you, but I feel a heightened sense of excitement on the day and night of a full moon! On September 1st, 2020, there is going to be a full moon. This means new possibilities, opportunities and energies are on their way!

The full moon has been associated with the feminine psyche and represents deep intuition and knowledge. In astrological terms, the moon is connected to our emotions, deepest feelings, private life, inner self, our habits, and who we are beyond our outer personality.

A full moon illuminates not only the night sky, but also our auric field. It heightens our emotions, senses, and intuition.

Research has shown that we actually sleep less during a full moon, which means it's even more important during this moon phase to take care of ourselves and listen to our inner voice or spiritual truth.

However, the full moon isn't the only phase that affects how we feel, think, react, or live on a daily basis. It's important to understand the different moon phases and what they bring.

The different moon phases & what they bring:

New Moon

The energy of the new moon is dark, deep and still.

Waxing Crescent

The energy of this phase is gentle, rising and emergent.

First Quarter

The energy of this phase is energetic and changing.

Waxing Gibbous

The energy of this phase is development and maturity.

Full Moon

The energy of this phase is magnetic and exciting!

Waning Gibbous

The energy of this phase is reflective and thawing.

Third Quarter

The energy of this phase is critical and embodiment.

Waning Crescent

The energy of this phase is mystical and dissolution.

Now that you understand the different moon phases, and how they can affect your energy, it's time to jump into the full moon manifestation process!

Things you need for your full moon manifestation:

  • Pen & paper

  • Smudge kit*

  • candle & lighter*

  • healing crystals*

*These supplies are not required to make your full moon manifestation complete, however they are recommended to help bring positive energy and calm your heightened senses.

Steps to your full moon manifestation:

Decide on your full moon intention

For this ritual, you need only one single manifestation intention. This part is the most important. Do not try to manifest multiple things at once during this ritual, one is enough.

Here are some examples of full moon manifestations to try:

  • Losing weight

  • A new car

  • Saving $2,000 by the end of the year

  • Living a healthier lifestyle

  • Strengthening an important relationship in your life

  • Having a successful business

If you are unsure of what you would like to manifest, spend a few minutes pondering what you most desire in life right now. You must be absolutely clear on your intention before the ritual begins.

Meditate & prepare your energetic field

Before starting your full moon manifestation, it's important to ground yourself. Find a sacred and calming space in your house or outside where you can take a few minutes to meditate and prepare your energetic field.

Light your sage, surround yourself with crystals, and dim the lights if possible.

Close your eyes and take some long deep breaths - in your nose and out through you mouth.

Relax your shoulders, jaw, forehead and any other place you may be holding tension.

An important and effective part of meditating is to smile! Lightly lift the corners of your mouth during this process.

Focus on your breath and clear all your thoughts from the day, week, night, etc.

Once you have cleared your head and you feel a deep sense of calmness, silently repeat to yourself every time you inhale: "I am complete. What I am seeking is on its way to me." You repeat this affirmation as many times as you'd like.

Now, focus your attention and energy on the moon. Feel and visualize your crown chakra (the energy center at the top of your head) opening up like a beautiful flower to soak up all the moon energy every times you breathe in. You may feel a slight tingle or sensation, or nothing at all - either way, don't worry.

Feel into your intention. Imagine it manifesting for your right now. Imagine all the feelings and emotions you will have when your manifestation is achieved.

Write your intention 13 times

After meditating for a few minutes, open your eyes but hold onto the incredible lunar energy you have within your body.

Grab your pen and paper and write down your full moon manifestation as an affirmation. Rather than writing down that you want this desire to happen, write it down as if it's already happening in the present moment. Use the feelings from your meditation to help with this.

Here are a few examples to get you started:

  • Ordinary intention: "I will develop a closer relationship to my cousin."

    • Affirmation: "I am so happy my relationship with my cousin is so strong and we are closer than ever."

  • Ordinary intention: "I set an intention to lose 10 pounds."

    • Affirmation: "I feel lighter mentally, physically and emotionally after losing 10 pounds."

  • Ordinary intention: "I will open a successful business."

    • Affirmation: "My business is so successful and I am so grateful to be making a steady income from it."

Why 13 times?

Writing your intention 13 times not only creates repetition, but also helps your mind, body, and spirit align with the vibration of receiving it. This allows your intention to become a 3 dimensional reality.

13 is also the number of the Goddess. Writing your intention 13 times also becomes an offering to her, and in return she will bring the manifestational magic into your life.

Place your paper in the full moon light

After writing your intention 13 times on a piece of paper, place it under the moonlight. If it's dry and calm where you live, place the paper outside under the moonlight in an undisturbed area. You can use crystals to hold down the paper to prevent it from flying away and to bring a little extra magic.

If you live in a cold climate, not to worry. Leave your paper inside your house by a windowsill where the moonlight pours in. This will still be effective!

Side note - even if it's cloudy the night of the full moon, you are still capable of implementing your full moon manifestation. Do not let the weather deter you from your manifestation ritual!

Give gratitude

Before ending your ritual, it's important to give gratitude to the moon goddess. Here is an inspiring full moon affirmation by Phoebe Garnsworthy that you can try:

Collect your paper before sunrise

Before the sun rises the next morning, make sure to collect your paper wherever you have left it under the moonlight. If you forget or sleep in, don't worry, you're manifestation will still work! But it will be more effective if you collect it before the sun's energy hits it.

Leave it under your pillow, at a sacred alter or in your pocket. Treat it carefully.

Have fun with it!

One of the most important parts of this ritual is to have fun! Whether it's your first time or your 10th time trying out a full moon manifestation ritual, don't forget to enjoy yourself!

Go with the flow and know that it's okay if it doesn't go perfectly your first time. Luckily, we have a full moon every 29.5 days so you will have plenty of full moons to help create your dreams into a reality.
